Lagodekhi is in the northeast of Georgia, in the valley of Alazani. It is one of the most ancient settlements in Kakheti. Lagodekhi it is known for sulfuric mineral waters which are used in the treatment-and-prophylactic purposes.

 

 

Now the territory Lagodekhi covers the Lagodekhi’s reserve. In Lagodekhi it is protected the deciduous and beechen woods. From all flora of the reserve 121 look is Caucasian. The majority of artiodactyl and predatory animals live in the Lagodekhsky reserve. In the territory of the reserve there are some falls, one of the most popular – Lagodekhi – Shromi Falls. You can also admire the Lake of the Black Rock.

 

Climate here characteristic for low mountains. Winter soft, summer very warm.
