Motsamet’s monastery (Monastery Svv. David and Konstantin) is one of bright sights not only Kutaisi, but also all Georgia.
The monastery is located over the rough river of Rioni in only 3 km from the city of Kutaisi therefore most of tourists prefer to make to it a foot walk. A row also located more well-known Gelati Monastery.

 

It is small, very beautiful monastery with the round turrets topped with peaked tent domes. The monastery is above the rough river of Rioni and is buried in verdure of coastal vegetation.
