Svaneti – mountain and very traditional area. Here to this day keep a secret of production of gold dust from the rivers. She was nicknamed the country of Thousand towers. Svan tower is a symbol Svaneti.

 

 

The musical folklore, is part of culture and Svanetiya’s history. Severity of the nature and severe living conditions, are shown in musical folklore, it also became same cruel and more courageous. By Svaneti’s traditions of a song had to be military character.

 

 

Svaneti’s culture is also live. The population strictly adheres to laws and traditions which were adopted a lot more time back. And many traditions which were lost, revive gradually and supported by new generations.
